Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Procurement Management

• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with Triple BEE requirements and the Mining Charter.
• Drive cost optimization while maintaining high-quality standards.

Tender and Contract Management

• Oversee tender processes and evaluate proposals to secure value-driven contracts.
• Manage contract negotiations, renewals, and compliance.

Vendor and Supplier Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers.
• Evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality and service delivery.
• Drive initiatives for vendor development and compliance with BEE codes.

Team Leadership and Development

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of procurement professionals.
• Foster a high-performance culture with a focus on collaboration and accountability.

Import/Export and ERP Management

• Oversee import/export operations, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Utilize ERP systems to streamline procurement processes and reporting.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field (CIPS certification required).
• A minimum of 7 years’ experience in procurement within mining, manufacturing, or construction industries.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in a managerial role.
• In-depth knowledge of Triple BEE procurement and Mining Charter requirements.
• Proficiency in tender and contract management, import/export processes, and ERP systems.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
