Job Description

Responsibility: Production: Match performance of the operators to production to ensure full capacity Assess operator performance daily Maintenance Management: Supply the Manager with relevant information on machine breakdowns, services and performance General: Sound knowledge and understanding of all relevant procedures and instructions Clear understanding and adherence to company and client policies and procedures Discuss comebacks with subordinates to identify any training needs and/or poor work performance Review and monitor overtime to ensure that the maximum hours are not exceeded Minimum Requirements: Must have at least N3 or Qualified Artisan Supervisory qualification will be advantageous Minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory designation At least 5 years post trade experience Previous experience on crushing and screening machinery in an open cast mining environment
