Job Description
Hire Resolve’s Client is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join their mining company based in the Northern Cape.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of electricians and support staff.
- Plan and schedule electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations.
- Perform fault-finding and troubleshoot issues with electrical systems and equipment.
- Manage and maintain electrical infrastructure, including switchgear, motors, and control panels.
- Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and ensure proper permit-to-work procedures.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure minimal downtime and support operational goals.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Electrical Trade Test Certificate
- N3 Certificate in Electrical Engineering
- Supervisory Certificate
- 5 years’ experience in the mining industry, where 3 years must be in a supervisory role.
- Valid Driver’s License
