About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Welder to join our temporary team in Johannesburg, supporting efficient plant operations with high-quality welding, fabrication, and repair work.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding and fabrication work according to technical drawings and specifications
- Repair damaged metal components and structures
- Cut, grind, fit, and assemble metal parts
- Conduct inspections of completed welds to ensure quality standards are met
- Operate welding equipment and hand tools safely and effectively
- Assist with plant maintenance and shutdown activities
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Complete job cards and maintenance documentation
- Report equipment faults and material shortages to supervisors
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Relevant Welding Qualification or Trade Certificate
- Minimum 3-5 years’ welding experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environment
