Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all operations within the mining site.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Manage budgets and financial performance of the mining operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentor and provide leadership to a team of supervisors and operational staff.
- Monitor key performance indicators and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination between departments.
Requirements:
- BTech / National Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering
- GCC Mines and Works
- At least 10 years of experience in mining operations, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale mining operations.
- Strong knowledge of mining regulations and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to relocate to the Northern Cape.
