What You’ll Do
As a Service Account Manager, you’ll be the commercial and technical go-to for mining clients across the region. Youll proactively manage existing accounts, reignite dormant customers, and hunt for new service opportunities that drive performance on-site.
Your mission includes:
- Based in Johannesburg with travel across SA, Namibia, Botswana & Zimbabwe
- Managing key accounts and developing new business.
- Selling aftermarket spares, services and major service work or upgrades
- Auditing equipment and advising on service solutions via Power BI and Dynamics 365
- Partnering with internal teams for RFQs, quotes, negotiations, and service delivery
- Averaging 3 client site visits per week to maintain hands-on customer relationships
- Identifying and referring capital equipment opportunities to senior sales leadership
- Using CRM tools daily to track, capture, and analyze sales and performance activity

Requirements
Youll Thrive If You Have
- A technical qualification in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering / Millwright / Fitter & Turner
- 35 years of technical experience in mining or heavy industry
- At least 2 years of B2B Sales, Account Management, Service, or Customer-Facing delivery roles (Mining Industry)
- The ability to build long-term trust with plant managers and operators
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficient in computer systems, with a proven track record of working across a range of business applications and CRM platformsincluding Microsoft Office, Dynamics 365, SharePoint, and Power BI.
- A valid drivers license and willingness to travel extensively
