Job Title: Bookkeeper Property Sector

Location: Kempton Park, Gauteng (In-person)

Salary: R18 000 R24 000 per month

Company Overview:
A well-established property company is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Administrator to join their team. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong finance or accounting background who are looking to grow their career in the property sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter daily financial transactions into accounting software.
• Prepare and manage recurring invoices and financial statements related to property accounts.
• Process journals, supplier invoices, and customer account transactions.
• Perform reconciliations of financial statements and customer accounts.
• Manage cashbook and trust accounts, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Handle intercompany loan accounts and record interest/repayments accurately.
• Liaise with banks regarding daily transactions and reconciliations.
• Organise, file, and maintain financial documents and receipts.
• Liaise with external customers and suppliers.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

Minimum Requirements:

• Diploma or certificate in Finance/Accounting (essential).
• Proven experience in financial administration, preferably within the property sector.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage Online (cloud-based) or similar.
• Knowledge of reconciliations, trust accounts, and intercompany transactions.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills.
