CUSTOMER SATISFACTION · Respond to all customer technical queries within 24 hours. · Interpret client specifications and provide tailored solutions for mill liners, chute linings, and related equipment. · Assist sales team with any technical queries/presentations and client meetings. · Respond to customer complaints within 24 hours. DOCUMENTATION · Develop and prepare detailed technical proposals and quotations for mining and engineering projects. · Log incidents and innovations on Sheqsys as they arise. · Interpret client specifications and provide tailored solutions for product line and related equipment. STAKEHOLDER LIAISON · Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure feasibility and accuracy of proposals. · Check technical and commercial conditions with relevant managers to minimise the risk to Multotec. · Complete technical proposal check list upon handover to Commercial Department. · Follow up with sales engineers/clients to ensure that all documentation is received and processed accordingly. TECHNICAL QUOTATIONS · Complete technical quotations and sizing within the customers requested date. · Ensure the enquired equipments are sized accurately. · Advise internal sales and sales on technical limitations when necessary. · Visit sites when required to advise customers and submit quotations. · Include technical conditions in quotations to minimise risk to Multotec. · 5 years relevant experience, preferably in a mining or engineering environment. Proven experience in technical sales or proposal engineering. · Background in draughting and design as well as experience with site measurements and client-facing technical support will be an added advantage. · Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Metallurgy). · Proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor, and related design software. · Strong understanding of mill liner and chute design principles. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. · Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint). · Strong planning and organisational skills, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple deadlines, quality and technical orientated and good communication skills. · Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment .
