Job Description
- Quality Control: Managing of Quality Control Plan of Rebuilding of all Earth Moving Machines and Components. Leading of Meetings to ensure that Project remains on track and that Quality in maintained throughout the process. The person should have product specific knowledge to be able to Inspect and test heavy earthmoving machinery, where needed to ensure they meet OEM Standards when signing of on the Project.
- Quality Assurance: Product Specific knowledge on CAT & KOMATSU to be able to Develop and implement quality assurance processes, procedures and documentation.
- Documentation:Compiling of Datapacks for all machines and components. Updating/improving and implementing of quality control measures and quality paperwork to ensure quality on each components or Machine delivered to the client. Writing of standard operating procedures and the implementation thereof.
- Warranty investigations: Failure investigations and writing of failure reports
- Training: Drafting of Product Specific Training material for the workshop and the Conducting of Training where applicable.
- Compliance:The active involvement in the workshop to ensure best practice behavior
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve quality issues promptly.
- Training: Provide training to staff on quality control and assurance procedures.
- Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements to quality control and assurance processes.
- Supplier Verification: Conducting Supplier verification with onsite visits to new suppliers to ensure quality standards of Suppliers.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years in quality control and assurance, with a strong focus on heavy earthmoving machinery.
- Technical Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of CAT, Komatsu, Cummins, Bell, and Volvo machinery.
- Education: Relevant technical or engineering degree preferred.
- Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Leadership: Ability to lead and train a team.
