Final Assembly Production Manager Marine IndustryKnysna, WCMarket Related Salary We are on the lookout for a skilled and experienced Final Assembly Production Manager to lead the assembly, production, and technical quality of boats and marine equipment. In this exciting role, youll oversee the entire final assembly process, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. Youll work in a dynamic environment, split between the office, manufacturing floor, and boatyard. There will also be occasional travel to suppliers, clients, or trade shows, and exposure to outdoor conditions and marine environments. If you have a passion for the boating industry and a strong background in production management, we want to hear from you!RequirementsDiploma in Project, Production, or Operations Management Marine Engineering or Mechanical Engineering background is a plus5+ years experience in boat manufacturing or a similar industryStrong knowledge of boat construction, materials, and systemsFamiliarity with CAD software, production scheduling tools, and quality control systemsProven leadership and team management skillsSolid problem-solving, organizational, and communication abilitiesKnowledge of marine safety and environmental regulationsProject Management Certification (e.g. PMP)Experience with lean manufacturing principlesHands-on experience with fiberglass, aluminum, or composite boat building.
