About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Representative to join our team at Kuruman, where you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new clients, conducting sales meetings and product demonstrations, and driving business growth through your expertise and knowledge of the industrial market.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify potential clients through cold calling, networking, and online research
- Conduct face-to-face meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations
- Negotiate sales agreements and provide timely price quotes and proposals
- Maintain long-term client relationships through regular communication
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and problem resolution
- Keep detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and transactions
- Develop and manage a strategic call cycle plan for client outreach
Requirements
- Minimum Matric qualification
- 5+ years’ experience in external sales (technical/industrial/hose markets)
- Self-driven, goal-oriented, and able to work unsupervised
- Fluent in English, proficiency in additional languages is advantageous
- Willingness to travel
