About the Role
AtripleA recruitment & temps is seeking a highly skilled QC / QA Inspector / Engineer to join our team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that manufactured products meet company and customer quality specifications, while also checking and testing materials and parts delivered from external suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
• Define and ensure compliance to quality standards and procedures on all projects
• Ensure that quality assurance checklists are adequate, relevant, and adhered to on all projects
• Ensure all projects have relevant quality control plans in place and that they are implemented and adhered to right through the project life cycle
• Perform internal and external factory acceptance tests in order to ensure compliance to client specifications and legal requirements
• Implement quality standards defined by company processes and procedures
• Adhere to client standards and requirements
• Adhere to national standards, regulatory and statutory requirements
• Resolve quality issues with customers and suppliers
• Analyse test results and write reports on their findings
• Expedite fabricated/ manufactured equipment supplied/delivered to site
• Perform 3rd party QC inspections on behalf of clients, applicable to EPCM scopes
• Report writing
• Conduct site quality audits and inspections
• Assist with internal/external audits
• Assist in conducting supplier evaluations/assessments
Requirements
• Technical Diploma (N6) or NQF equivalent (electrical or Instrumentation)
• Exposure to engineering and construction industry and at least 2 years’ QA/QC experience
• MV/LV Equipment knowledge and Testing methodology
• Read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings (electric and mechanical)
