About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our team in Howick, KwaZulu-Natal. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, managing personnel, and driving business growth. With a strong background in rubber manufacturing, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage production teams to achieve optimal output and quality standards
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to secure raw materials and components
- Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes
- Oversee the development and implementation of new product lines
Requirements
- Qualification in Production Management, Business Management, or similar Industrial or Mechanical Engineering qualification (advantageous) ±5 years experience in a similar production management role
- Strong people management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Computer literate with strong analytical ability
- Rubber manufacturing experience essential
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualification in Production Management, Business Management, or similar Industrial or Mechanical Engineering qualification (advantageous)
- ±5 years experience in a similar production management role (Rubber manufacturing experience essential)
