Job Description
- Grade 12
- Preference given to qualifications in either Occupational Health and Safety, Food Safety and Compliance
- Proven 3+ Years experience as a Compliance Officer or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with the agricultural or farming industry is an advantage.
- Valid driver’s license.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITY AREAS
- Continuous preparation of Compliance Audits (Global Gap and add-ons, SIZA Social, SIZA Environmental)
- Ensure the farm complies with local, national, and international regulations.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the agricultural sector.
- Carbon Footprint Calculations
- Provide training and support to staff on compliance-related matters.
- Investigate and resolve compliance issues and complaints.
- Data capturing on excel and Intranet for trend analysis:
- Training records
- Medical Records
- IOD’s
- Sanitation
- Conduct regular internal audits and inspections to identify potential compliance risks
- Prepare and submit compliance reports to management
- Arrange and chair meetings (health & safety, employment equity, and workers committee)
- PhytClean Registrations
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure overall compliance.
- PPE Management (Purchasing and issuing)
