The main purpose of the job:
Assist in maintaining the efficiency and productivity of the workshop. This role is based at our Polokwane branch, supporting clients across the city and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities:

• Support troubleshooting and basic repair of machinery while learning from senior
• Develop skills in reading and understanding manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
• Assist with equipment tests and help record and interpret results.
• Take part in installations, commissioning, and customer training alongside experienced staff.
• Contribute simple service notes and reports under guidance.
• Carry out routine maintenance tasks in the workshop or on-site with supervision.
• Provide initial assistance to customers and refer complex issues to senior team members.
• Follow planned schedules for customer service and breakdown support.
• Learn to identify and prepare required spare parts and tools for jobs.
• Maintain safe working practices in the workshop and at customer sites.
• Gain experience as part of the standby support team when required.

Requirements:

• Matric or equivalent NQF
• Must be a trade-tested Millwright with strong electrical / Instrumentation
• 1 year plus working experience within a related field.
• Experience within the Food and Beverage industry would be an advantage.
• Field service experience is ideal
