is currently assisting an exclusive new luxury lodge, opening early 2026 within the Greater Kruger Area, to recruit and experienced and passionate . The Trails Guide will play a key role in delivering exceptional and safe guided walking and vehicle safaris, offering guests a meaningful and educational experience in the African bush. The ideal candidate is a confident, knowledgeable, and personable guide who takes pride in connecting guests to the environment through interpretation, storytelling, and passion for conservation. As part of the opening team, the Trails Guide will also assist in shaping the lodge’s guiding culture and ensuring that the guest experience reflects the brand’s high standards of professionalism and authenticity. Requirements · FGASA Field Guide (NQF Level 2) or higher Full Trails Guide qualification essential · Valid SAPS Rifle Competency and ARH certificate · Valid First Aid, PDP, and DEAT Registration · Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience guiding at a 5-star property · Strong knowledge of fauna, flora, and local ecosystems · Exceptional communication, hosting, and guest relations skills · Passionate about conservation, safety, and creating memorable guest experiences · Professional, well-groomed, and a strong team player · A stable work background with contactable references & · Salary on application (depending on experience) · Live-in position – single accommodation provided · Meals on duty · Uniform provided · Opportunity to join an exciting new project from the ground up PLEASE NOTE – Although we appreciate all applications, we will only reply to those candidates who meet our clients specific requirements.
