Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing lodge operations including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage.
- Maintain and enhance guest satisfaction through prompt resolution of issues and proactive service improvements.
- Support financial goals through effective budget management, cost controls, and revenue generation initiatives.
- Lead and mentor lodge staff, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring adherence to lodge policies and procedures.
- Champion environmental sustainability practices and local conservation efforts.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in hospitality management, in a supervisory or managerial role within a luxury lodge or similar setting.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field will be an advantage.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of wildlife conservation, eco-tourism principles, and local environmental regulations is desirable.
- Ability to work irregular hours and adapt to the demands of a dynamic lodge environment.
- Passion for hospitality, dedication to guest satisfaction, and commitment to maintaining high standards.
