Job Description:
An established mining operation in Marble Hall seeks a Crushing Plant Production Supervisor to oversee and optimize production processes in their crushing and screening plant.
This critical role involves ensuring production efficiency, maintaining machinery, and leading a team to achieve operational excellence.
Key
Responsibilities:
1. Production Oversight:
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily mining operations to meet production targets.
- Implement strategies to boost productivity, minimize downtime, and optimize resource use.
2. Maintenance Management:
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for mining equipment and machinery.
- Manage a team of technicians to promptly address equipment breakdowns and reduce operational delays.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations.
3. Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor production and maintenance teams to foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Motivate staff to achieve both individual and team goals.
Qualifications and
Requirements:
- Competent A certification is essential.
- Mine Health and Safety certificates (advantageous).
- Proven experience in a similar supervisory role within the mining industry, with expertise in production and maintenance.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
- Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in mining, engineering, or a related field.
