About the Role
Dante Group Ltd is seeking an experienced and skilled General Manager to join our team as Mbombela. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our abattoir facility, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and implementing effective management systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Implementing and maintaining Health Management Systems in line with FMCG standards
- Supervising staff and coordinating operational activities
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and industry best practices
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting to relevant authorities
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to achieve business objectives
Requirements
- Matric
- Tertiary qualifications, certifications or diploma relating to food / health and safety in FMCG
- 5 Years’ experience in an abattoir environment in an Operational Manager, Assistant Manager, or General Manager capacity
- Proven exposure to implementing, maintaining, and enhancing abattoir Health Management Systems

- Formal education/certifications (if applicable)
