Key Responsibilities: Develop, read, and update detailed technical drawings . Ensure measurement accuracy and precision in all designs. Oversee quality control processes in manufacturing, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Conduct on-site measurements and assessments for project planning. Work closely with production teams to optimise planning, scheduling, and process efficiency . Identify and resolve technical discrepancies before fabrication. Requirements: Degree in Mechanical Engineering . Experience in manufacturing planning and technical drawing interpretation . Strong proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar). Hands-on experience in quality control within a steel manufacturing environment. Detail-oriented and perfectionist mindset accuracy is key Ability to work on-site for measurements and compliance checks . Must be South African and must have a drivers license and their own vehicle.
