Middelburg: Qualified Diesel Mechanic

Key Responsibilities: Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on large commercial diesel vehicles Conduct thorough inspections to identify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults Overhaul engines, transmissions, and other major components as required Ensure timely completion of service schedules and repair jobs Adhere to workshop procedures, safety standards, and quality control protocols Maintain accurate service records and reports Assist in training junior technicians and apprentices where required Diagnose and troubleshoot complex vehicle systems using diagnostic tools and technical manuals Requirements: Qualified Diesel Mechanic / Trade Test Certification Proven experience with large commercial vehicles (trucks, buses, or similar) Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Team-oriented, reliable, and self-motivated Valid drivers license What We Offer: Competitive salary package Opportunity to work with a reputable commercial vehicle dealer Supportive, professional workshop environment Career growth and skills development opportunities
