Responsibilities:

• Oversee the procurement and planning of pharmaceutical finished goods, ensuring optimal stock levels.
• Develop and maintain relationships with international suppliers, ensuring compliance with global trade regulations.
• Manage the purchasing of controlled substances, adhering to strict regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand, analyze inventory trends, and enhance supply chain efficiency.
• Monitor supplier performance, negotiate contracts, and resolve supply chain disruptions.
• Ensure accurate procurement documentation, including purchase orders, supplier agreements, and compliance records.
• Work closely with logistics and regulatory teams to facilitate seamless import processes.

Minimum

Requirements:

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, or a related field.
• CIPS qualification will be an advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years in a Buyer/Planner role within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience managing international suppliers and finished goods in a global supply chain.
• Exposure to controlled substances procurement and regulatory compliance.
• Strong understanding of inventory management practices and ERP systems.

Reporting Line: This role reports to the Head of Supply Chain & Procurement.
