Job Summary
Job Title: Tax Specialist
Location: Midrand, Gauteng
Industry: Auditing and Accounting
Salary: Negotiable based on experience
Hire Resolves client is seeking a qualified and experienced Tax Specialist to join a growing team in Midrand. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in tax accounting, coupled with hands-on experience in the auditing and accounting sector. You will be responsible for delivering accurate tax services, ensuring compliance, and providing strategic tax guidance to clients.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, companies, and trusts
- Ensure compliance with SARS regulations and deadlines
- Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to clients
- Liaise with clients and SARS regarding tax queries and audits
- Identify potential tax risks and develop risk mitigation strategies
- Keep up to date with South African tax legislation and policies
- Support internal and external audit processes
- Collaborate with the broader accounting and finance teams
Requirements:
- Educational Qualification: BCom Degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field
- Experience: 35 years of experience in tax accounting
