Step into a high-impact Group Financial Accountant position where you will be responsible for the integrity and consolidation of the group’s financial results. You will be the go-to expert for technical accounting, group reporting, and complianceproviding a clear and accurate picture of the group’s performance to senior leadership and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Take ownership of the group’s monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation process. Prepare and review group financial statements in compliance with IFRS, ensuring technical accuracy. Oversee and review financial reporting from subsidiary brands, ensuring adherence to group accounting policies. Act as the primary point of contact for External Auditors during the annual audit process. Lead the implementation of new accounting standards and ensure group-wide compliance. Continuously improve group reporting processes and enhance the effectiveness of financial controls. Provide technical accounting guidance and support to finance teams across the groups brands. Job Experience & Skills Required: CIMA / ACCA or equivalent. BCom Accounting with 35 years of post-qualification experience, including significant exposure to group consolidations. In-depth knowledge of IFRS and experience in preparing complex group financial statements. Proficient in a major ERP system; experience with group consolidation modules is highly advantageous.
