About the Role
Midvaal Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Junior OHS / SHEQ Officer to join our client’s team in Midrand, Gauteng. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Health and Safety regulations, financial management, and internal sales. With a focus on compliance, the successful candidate will be responsible for conducting site surveys, investigations, and implementation, as well as managing subordinate staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct OHS Act compliance surveys, investigations, and implementation
- Manage subordinate staff
- Perform Risk Assessments, Evacuation Drills, and compile site drawings
- Travel locally and nationally for work-related duties
- Maintain accurate records of site audits and inspections
Requirements
- Nosa and OHS Act qualifications
- Knowledge of Health and Safety aspects
- Financial management skills and understanding of profit margins
- Experience in internal and external sales
- Past experience in management of subordinate staff would be beneficial
Qualifications
- Matric with additional position-associated qualifications
