Midrand: Regional Sales Representative

Were looking for a driven and knowledgeable Regional Sales Representative to grow our clients’ presence across the Inland region. This role is key to driving new business development and managing relationships with existing clients in the food processing, dairy, and beverage manufacturing sectors . Youll be representing our trusted range of industrial hygiene chemicals , providing expert solutions that align with clients’ food safety and operational requirements. Key Responsibilities Proactively identify and secure new business through cold calling, networking, and market intelligence. Maintain and grow a portfolio of existing clients by building strong, long-term relationships. Understand client operations and recommend appropriate hygiene solutions from our product range. Conduct product presentations, on-site demonstrations, and technical consultations. Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed monthly sales targets. Provide product support and guidance on application and compliance with food safety standards. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes in the food & beverage sector. Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, forecasts, and activity updates. Required Skills & Qualifications Tertiary qualification in Microbiology , Food Science , or a related field is highly advantageous . Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in industrial hygiene chemicals or similar products within the food & beverage industry. In-depth understanding of food processing, dairy, or beverage production environments. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations (e.g. HACCP , ISO 22000 ) is a strong advantage. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Proven ability in sales strategy, negotiation, and deal closing . Self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to work independently. Willingness to travel extensively within the region. Valid drivers license and reliable personal vehicle. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is essential.
