Midrand: Remedial/Vocational PE teacher required – Kyalami – Part Time posted by Smartstuff Solutions

Our client is looking for a teacher with a fresh perspective and the ability to learn and enjoy a challenge of a school that offers remedial and vocational/technical education.

• This is a small private high school (Gr 7 – 12) in Kyalami
• The candidate would need to be willing to teach a handful of learners in a practical environment

The teacher would need to be able deal with age groups 12 – 21 both male and female (neurodivergent learners).

Requirements and skills:

• Teaching experience (2 years plus) in the classroom – preferably in a remedial or vocational environment – any academic subjects
• PE teaching experience
• Attention to detail
• PGCE and/or BED required
• SACE registered
• Dynamic and adaptable
• Have the appetite to work in a non-traditional school environment with remedial/ non-academic learners
• Ability to coach and inspire
• Great communication skills with parents required
