Job Summary
Overview: The company is looking for a Social Media Specialist who will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies to enhance brand presence, engage audience and drive business growth. A core focus will be in creating compelling content, managing social media channels and analysing performance metrics to optimize social media presence. Requirements A qualification in Social Media Marketing or a related field 3 years or more experience in the or a similar position Proficiency in Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Asana or Olapic Duties Strategy Development: Create and implement engaging social media strategies for various brands Channel Management: Handle daily operations on platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, tailoring content for each Content Planning: Oversee and schedule content delivery using tools like Sprinklr, Hootsuite and Asana Multimedia Creation: Produce or outsource engaging multimedia content across platforms Campaign Management: Develop and manage competitions and promotional campaigns Influencer Relations: Build relationships with key influencers on social media Audience Research: Conduct research to understand target audiences Community Engagement: Facilitate discussions and respond to social media interactions Performance Analysis: Monitor and report on social media performance using analytics tools Trend Evaluation: Research trends to improve measurement of social media activity Competitor Analysis: Analyze competitor strategies for insights Performance Recommendations: Suggest improvements to boost engagement and brand awareness Budget Management: Oversee the budget for social media initiatives Staff Education: Train staff on social media best practices Team Collaboration: Foster collaboration across departments Client Liaison: Communicate regularly with clients via various channels Marketing Support: Assist the marketing team with content creation and event support
