Key Skills & Requirements
- Expertise in Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, SLES): Mastery of OS concepts, security, server infrastructure architecture, and networking (NFS, CIFS, SSH, DNS, NTP).
- Cloud Proficiency: Advanced knowledge in AWS and Azure, with a deep understanding of cloud integration.
- Scripting & Programming: Proficiency in Bash, Python, Perl.
- Version Control: Advanced use of GitHub/Bitbucket, Confluence, and Jira.
- Virtualization & Clustering: Experience with Veritas Clustering, XEN, and SAN/NAS storage integration.
- ServiceNow & ITIL: Practical knowledge of ITSM, incident management, and change management.
- Documentation & Communication: Professional communication skills and experience maintaining technical documentation.
Advantageous Skills
- Knowledge of Agile Working Models, VMWare, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift), and monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Splunk).
- Experience in Private Cloud, ITIL, ITSM processes, and Active Directory/LDAP management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Degree in Information Systems or equivalent.
- Experience: 8+ years in IT operations, including 6+ years in Linux systems, cloud technologies, and configuration management.
- Certifications: Ansible Tower, ITIL, Scrum (advantageous).

- Linux Administration: Install, support, and maintain SUSE Linux servers and virtual environments to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Problem Solving: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, collaborating with international colleagues to maintain service standards.
- Automation & Security: Maintain Ansible Automation Platform, implement security protocols, manage vulnerabilities, and optimize system performance.
- Documentation & Reporting: Keep documentation current, attend meetings, and coordinate with contractors for operational alignment.
- Availability: Standby support and weekend work may be required to uphold service reliability.
