SPA THERAPIST

MILNERTON – Atlantic Seaboard / West Coast (Western-Cape) – South Africa

STARTING DATE: A.S.A.P / September 2025

REPORTS to: Spa Manager / CEO

EMPLOYMENT: Full Time

TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS:

• Monday – Sunday
• Shifts: 08:00 – 17:00 | 09:00 – 18:00 | 10:00 -19:00 | 11:00 – 20:00
• Open / Close Shifts apply (must be flexible and able to work early & late shifts rotate)
• 1x Weekend OFF per month + Days in the week

SALARY & COMPANY BENEFITS:

• R6,500 – R7,000 Basic per month (Based on experience)
• Treatment Commission
• Retail Commission
• Incentives and performance bonuses

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. South African citizen OR valid working permit for employment in SA (we do not offer permits)
2. CIDESCO / ITEC / SAAHSP / CIBTAC / City & Guilds / BABTAC or internationally recognized accreditation
3. DIPLOMA Beauty Specialist / Health & Skin Care / Beauty Therapy / Somatology / Cosmetology
4. Reliable transport to Milnerton (MyCiti bus available)
5. Fit and healthy to perform therapies back to back
6. Confident retailer – this is essential

EXPERIENCE:

1. Day Spa experience within a Hotel or Resort or independent day spa
2. Cruise Ship OR international employment experience is favorable
3. Confident working with VIP clients – able to offer a discerning service

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI):

1. Confident and skilled in all standard SPA services (Body & Massage Therapy, Skin Care & Facials, Mani & Pedicure, Waxing)
2. Ability to effectively prescribe relevant home care to clients accordingly
3. Retail confident
4. Confidently re-book clients where applicable
5. Strong team dynamic, but able to work on your own without supervision
