About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Mitchells Plain. As an experienced healthcare professional, you will play a critical role in providing medical care and support to our clients in the workplace. With a strong focus on occupational health, we require a practitioner who is knowledgeable in the latest medical guidelines and protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct medical assessments and examinations for work-related injuries and illnesses
- Develop and implement occupational health programs to promote employee well-being and safety
- Provide education and training to employees on workplace hazards and safety procedures
- Collaborate with employers and HR teams to identify and mitigate workplace risks
- Maintain accurate records of employee health data and program evaluations
Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in occupational health nursing
- Valid Dispensing Certificate
- Certificates in Audiometry, Spirometry, and Vision Screening
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Nursing Diploma or Degree
- Post-basic Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health Nursing
- SANC Registration (South African Nursing Council)
