About the Role
The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the full finance function and driving financial excellence across the business, leading and supporting a team to achieve strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee reporting, budgeting, forecasting, tax, compliance, reconciliations, and month-end processes
- Produce meaningful financial insights
- Coordinate external audits
- Ensure regulatory compliance
- Maintain strong financial controls
- Engage with external stakeholders
- Support treasury and funding initiatives
- Identify cost efficiencies
- Drive continuous improvement
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years post-articles experience in a Finance Manager role within commerce
- Strong understanding of IFRS and tax principles
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills
- Experience in financial services or retail advantageous
- Exposure to Oracle Netsuite beneficial
Qualifications
- BCom Honours Degree
- SAICA articles completed (CA(SA) preferred)
