About the Role
Fedics Healthwise is seeking an experienced Chef to join our team in Mossel Bay. We are looking for a skilled professional who can deliver high-quality food consistently, even in fast-paced and high-volume environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present meals according to Fedics standards
- Maintain food quality, portion control, and hygiene at all times
- Assist in planning and executing high-volume service
- Support stock control, receiving, and rotation processes
- Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and sanitation standards
- Work effectively as part of a busy, service-driven kitchen team
Requirements
- At least 2 years’ experience as a Chef in a high-volume kitchen
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, safety, and hygiene practices
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver consistent quality
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow standardised recipes and procedures
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays if required
