Mpumalanga: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Mine Site posted by Communicate Finance

• Develop and implement mechanical maintenance strategies
• Support breakdown investigations and root cause analysis
• Coordinate maintenance activities with production teams
• Monitor equipment performance and reliability metrics
• Ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 4 to 7 years of mechanical maintenance experience in mining or heavy industry
• Strong knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance practices
• Experience with CMMS systems and maintenance planning
• Strong interpersonal and coordination skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a production-driven environment

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering essential
• GCC (Mines & Works) advantageous
