Job Summary

Hire Resolve`s Client is seeking a Senior Draughtman to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in producing detailed technical drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards, and supporting project teams in delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design & Drafting:

    • Prepare and review detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using CAD software.
    • Develop detailed layouts, schematics, and fabrication drawings.
    • Collaborate with engineers and project teams to translate conceptual designs into working drawings.

  • Project Coordination:

    • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to gather technical requirements.
    • Ensure drawings meet project specifications and regulatory standards.
    • Revise drawings based on feedback and updates from project teams.

  • Quality Control:

    • Conduct thorough checks on drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to industry standards.
    • Maintain organized documentation and drawing records for easy access and retrieval.

  • Mentorship:

    • Provide guidance and support to junior draughtsmen to ensure skill development and consistent quality.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Educational Background:

    • Diploma or Diploma in Multi Disciplinary Draughting or a related field.
    • Advanced training in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit).

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 57 years of draughting experience in a relevant industry (e.g., construction, engineering, or manufacturing).
    • 5+ years in Structural Steel
    • 3+ years Platework
    • 1+ years in Piping
    • Experience in both 2D and 3D modeling.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools specifically (Autodesk Advanced Steel, Autodesk Inventor and Plant 3D).
    • Strong understanding of engineering principles and technical specifications.
    • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.

  • Soft Skills:

    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
