Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair mechanical machinery and equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Perform fault finding and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

• Trade Test Certificate: Fitter / Fitter and Turner (accredited by a recognized SETA).
• Education: Matric / Grade 12.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years post-trade experience in a heavy industrial, mining, manufacturing, or processing environment.
• Ability to work from technical drawings and specifications.
• Solid understanding of mechanical components, bearings, hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding basics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Physically fit and willing to work shifts, overtime, and standby when required.
