About the Role
Nelspruit-based construction company seeks an experienced General Worker/Scaffold Hand to join their team. As a key member of the site, you will be responsible for assisting in the erection, alteration, and dismantling of scaffolding and temporary works under direct supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all tasks are performed safely, in compliance with site procedures, legal requirements, and approved risk assessments.
- Conduct task-specific risk assessments (TSRA/DSTI) with supervision before commencing scaffolding or temporary works activities.
- Comply at all times with control measures implemented to manage identified hazards.
- Immediately stop all work activities if supervision is no longer present and only resume once supervision or a designated Team Leader is reinstated.
Requirements
- Working at Heights Scaffold Hand Training
- Valid Medical Fitness Certificate, including Working at Heights
- Minimum 23 years construction experience. Previous experience in scaffolding, shutdowns, or industrial environments will be an advantage.

- Completed Matric (Grade 12)
