About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Test Analyst to join our team in Cape Town, responsible for analyzing technical specifications to identify business requirements and preparing and executing test cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze technical specifications to identify business requirements
- Prepare and execute test cases
Requirements
- Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
- Software Testing – Foundation Level through the International Software Testing Qualification Board (ISTQB)
Qualifications
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Software Testing or Information Technology
Experience
Min:
- No less than 2-3 years’ proven formal experience in QA testing within a similar environment
- Front-end testing experience
Ideal (nice to have):
- Banking IT system exposure
- Experience in Integration, Regression, Automation and Non-Functional testing
- Exposure to testing tools
- Release management exposure
- Experience testing on a mobile app / different types of devices (e.g., iOS, Android, Huawei, etc.)
Knowledge

- Detailed knowledge of:
- The full IT project lifecycle (SDLC)
- Formal testing practices
- Software and hardware testing
