About the Role
A Retail Site Supervisor is required to oversee large-scale retail operations within a high-volume, multi-department retail environment based in Newcastle. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing staff across 3 shifts and ensuring compliance with SA Labour Laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-site operational supervision across all departments
- Managing staff across 3 shifts (rosters, attendance, timesheets)
- Staff interviews, screening, hiring and onboarding
- Payroll inputs, shift registers and leave management
- Industrial relations, disciplinary processes and hearings
- IODs, dismissals, HR administration and staff files
- Conflict management and staff engagement
- Daily, weekly and monthly management reporting
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Relevant HR or Retail Management qualification
- Proven experience in a senior retail supervisory role
- Fully computer literate (Excel, Word, Outlook, retail systems)
