Education and Qualifications: Minimum – Degree in Electrical Engineering ECSA Professional Engineer/Candidate Desirable but not mandatory: Completed CEM or CEA course Desirable but not mandatory: PV Green Card Education and Experience: Minimum qualification of a diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent Mandatory Wiremans license/registered with the Department of Labor OR in the process of obtaining one (with proof of application) Mandatory At least 3 years experience in electrical installations within energy efficiency, metering, lighting, or Solar PV Projects Mandatory (at least one) Valid drivers license PV Green Card Advantageous but not mandatory Desired Skills & Abilities: Efficiency auditing Meter audits Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams and electrical drawings Knowledge of lighting systems, electricity smart meters, lighting control systems, Solar PV, battery, and inverter systems Experience with test meters and other diagnostic equipment Understanding of electricity metering and communication technologies Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software Understanding of SANS 10142, SANS 10114-1, SANS 10389-1, and SANS 10098-1 Preferential: Drivers license and driving experience By submitting any Personal Information to MPRTC in any form you acknowledge that such conduct constitutes a reasonable unconditional, specific and voluntary consent to the processing and storing of such Personal Information by MPRTC and/or MPRTCs clients and/or verification information suppliers.
