About the Role
A well-established company based in Lonehill requires a Debtors & Creditors Clerk / Junior Bookkeeper to join the finance team on a 6 fixed-term basis. Due to a growing workload, the implementation of a new stock system, and other ongoing projects, the accounts department requires additional support to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing and reconciling debtors and creditors accounts
- Capturing and maintaining accurate financial records
- Assisting with general bookkeeping duties
- Supporting the finance team with day-to-day accounting functions
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Liaising with suppliers and customers regarding account queries
- Assisting with VAT preparations
Requirements
- Prior experience in bookkeeping, debtors, and creditors management
- Proficiency in Pastel Accounting software (essential)
- Ability to add value quickly with minimal training
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Prior experience in bookkeeping, debtors, and creditors management (experience is preferred but not required)
