About the Role
The Logistics Manager will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end logistics function at the plant, managing warehousing, distribution, and fleet operations while maintaining the high standards of safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate daily warehouse and distribution activities to ensure on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery to customers.
- Oversee stock control processes, minimize waste/shrinkage, and ensure accurate record-keeping within the ERP system.
- Monitor logistics expenditures and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising service quality.
- Lead and motivate the logistics staff and third-party service providers to meet operational KPIs.
- Ensure all activities comply with Health and Safety (NOSA/ISO) standards and transport regulations.
- Identify bottlenecks in the supply chain and implement immediate, practical solutions.
Requirements
- Education: Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
