MANUFACTURING N6 Electrical diploma (or Electrical Engineering degree), IES SA Certificate – Principles of lighting, Certificate on quality assurance Implementation and evaluation of quality systems, Knowledge of luminaire and lighting specifications, lighting terms/principles, Calibration of test equipment, Photometric measurements and electrical testing of luminaires and luminaire components The successful candidate shall be self-motivated, target driven and able to work independently with good communication skills on a senior level. Excellent Microsoft Office skills Responsible for ensuring that all products comply with the requirements of national and international standards Product Certification – SABS and CERTEX Testing of luminaires to specific permit conditions – SABS and CERTEX Testing of luminaire components Photometric testing of luminaires Calibration of Equipment Control of SANS Specifications Product failures (Customer Claims) Inspection on assembly lines (Factory ) Quality Inspection Sheets (Incoming Goods ) Training and Technical Support SABS Technical Committee
