Job Summary

Hire Resolve`s client is urgently looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join their finance team in Oudtshoorn. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and performing various accounting tasks.

Responsibilities:

– Keeping basic accounting records of clients.
– Preparation of financial statements. 
– VAT processing for clients on Xero and Sage Accounting
– Handling of SAID inquiries and submission of supporting documents as required by SAID. 
– Submission of income tax and VAT returns.
– Execution of basic accounting procedures
– Reconciliation of financial information of clients. 
– Preparation of monthly management statements.

Requirements:

– Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Xero and Sage Accounting.
– Bilingualism in both Afrikaans and English will count in the candidates favor.
– At least 3 years of relevant experience in the field. 
– A completed SAIPA or SAICA clerkship is essential.
– Knowledge of PowerBI, PowerApps and Microsoft SQL will be advantageous.
