About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter and Turner/CNC Setter to join our team in Paarl. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in conventional turning and milling, as well as experience in CNC machining, setting, and operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines with multiple axes
- Conduct precision machining
- Troubleshoot and solve complex problems related to CNC operations
- Communicate effectively with CNC programmers and management
Requirements
- Completed trade test as Fitter and Turner
- 3-5 years experience in conventional turning and milling, and CNC machining, setting, and operation
- Expertise in setting CNC machines is essential
- Knowledge of FANUC controls is required
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Valid driver’s licence, own car, and clear criminal and credit record
Qualifications
- Completed trade test as Fitter and Turner
