About the Role

Hire Resolve’s client is a leading Architecture firm in need of an experienced Senior Design Architect to join their team in Sandton, GP. We are seeking a highly skilled professional with expertise in designing complex commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities

Knowledge and experience in design of complex commercial buildings
Produce world class designs of complex commercial buildings
Attend design meetings with clients and consultants
Produce high quality sketch illustrations depicting client brief accurately
Assist with graphic design work for presentation purposes (Adobe suite/ Affinity Suite)
Assist with 3D visualisation of project proposals (Enscape/ 3d Max/ hand sketches/Lumion)
Produce concept work and design presentations accurate for costing and documentation purposes
Produce and co-ordinate council submission documentation, both SDP and Building Plans
Willing to frequently travel Internationally

Requirements

Master in Architecture (M.Arch) Cum Laude in Design
Minimum of 10+ years experience (after Post grad)
SACAP Registered
Advanced in use of Revit (certification of such preferable)
Complete B+P Revit Assessment with minimum 80% score
Sketches to be done in Revit and by hand
Intermediate knowledge of the Adobe Master Suite for graphic design purposes
Intermediate knowledge of 3D visualisation software for presentation purposes
Intermediate knowledge and history of council documentation and submission process
High standard of communication
Ability to work independently and in collaborative team environment
Sufficiently experienced to resolve problems and to make decisions when required
Plans and organises workflow and resources to ensure commitments and deadlines are met
Manages individuals in team and actively monitors activities
Builds working relationships in project team and with clients
Sets a positive example and displays visible loyalty to the company

Urban Design Qualification and experience (registered with UDISA Urban Design Institute of South Africa) is an added advantage
