Job Summary
STAFF NURSER14 000 R13 000 NEGFacility in Parow in need of a Staff Nurse. If you have a passion for caring for the elderly and ensuring their health and well-being, this opportunity could be perfect for you. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 3 years experience with the following:Ensure high standards of nursing care to meet the needs of the residentsPlan and follow a daily care schedule with patients, modify care plans as prescribed by medical professionals, and report on any new conditions or needs that may ariseFollowing a prescribed healthcare plan, which may include assisting with exercise and administering medicationProviding emotional support and encouragement to perform necessary tasksProviding mobility assistance may be required, for example helping the client in and out of bed, a chair, or a wheelchairMonitoring and reporting changes in health, behaviour, and needsAdministering prescribed medicationKeep up to date records with regards to night shift patient careTaking of blood pressure and recording of weight gain or lossPreparing of daily medicationsQualifications:Matric or equivalentDiploma in Nursing will be advRegistration with the South African Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse Nursing background and experience with the elderlyMinimum 2 3 years experienceSkills:You should be patient, empathetic and have strong peoples skillsShould be observant and committed to making your patient feel safe.
