Job Description

Motus Hino Parow currently holds a vacancy for a Trainee Trainee Sales (Commercial Vehicles) The purpose of this role is to assist the Truck Sales Department with administrative, customer support, and business development functions while undergoing training within the commercial vehicle environment. The candidate will work closely with the Sales Manager and Sales Team to support the day-to-day activities of the department. Key Responsibilities Assist the Sales Manager and Sales Team with general sales administration Conduct follow-up calls to clients who have received quotations Maintain and update customer databases and CRM systems Assist with booking appointments for the sales team with prospective clients Support the sales administration function with documentation and record keeping Assist with vehicle movements and driving duties when required Undergo training on Value Added Products (VAPS) and assist with offering these to clients Provide general support to ensure efficient operation of the sales department The candidate must be able to work under pressure and function with minimal supervision while maintaining a professional approach to customers and colleagues. Trainee Parts (Commercial Vehicles) The purpose of this role is to assist the Parts Department with administrative, operational and customer service functions while undergoing training in commercial vehicle parts operations. The candidate will work closely with the Parts Manager and Parts Team to support departmental processes. Key Responsibilities Assist in ensuring parts received are correct in quantity, specification and pricing Participate in stock takes and assist with capturing stock count sheets Maintain clear communication with customers, workshop staff, sales team, stores personnel and drivers Conduct regular walk-throughs of the workshop to identify potential parts opportunities and support upselling to the workshop where appropriate Maintain a high level of customer service when assisting with parts enquiries Undergo training on Kerridge & e-Toyota under the supervision of the Parts Manager
