About the Role
Hire Resolve, a top-tier recruitment firm, is seeking an experienced Senior REVIT Technician to join their team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality structural engineering drawings and mentoring other staff members in the use of REVIT.
Key Responsibilities
- Production of structural engineering REVIT drawings in accordance with GIBB standard procedures
- Production of complete and accurate reinforced concrete detailing drawings and bending schedules
- Maintaining good filing records of drawings on projects
- Issuing drawings and managing drawing registers
- Conducting site supervision inspections as required
- Ensuring all work is done in accordance with GIBB Quality systems
- Mentoring and training of other staff members in the use of REVIT
- Managing external REVIT training
- Managing drafting resources and allocation of workload as required
Requirements
- Diploma in Civil Engineering – with practical experience in Structural Engineering
- Certificate in CAD Draughting
- Certified training in REVIT
- At least 5 years up until 8 years of full-time REVIT experience
- BIM experience
- Competence in AutoCAD/REVIT/AutoPADDS
- Competence in REVIT rebar
- Knowledge of Structural REVIT/CAD standards
- Good reinforcement detailing skills
- Good understanding of structures elements
- Knowledge of REVIT/CAD office procedures
