POWER COUPLE – Field Guide & Spa Therapist

KRUGER NATIONAL PARK – PHALABORWA, Limpopo (ZA)

TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS

• Monday – Sunday
• Shifts
• 6 days on / 2 days off
• Flexible regarding overtime on occasion based on hotel bookings
• OPEN all major public holidays
• 21 days paid leave per annum

REPORT TO: Hotel GM / Owner

SALARY & COMPANY BENEFITS

• R16,000 – R20,000 Salary per month combined
• Commission (Product & Services rendered) – Spa Therapist only
• Semi-furnished accommodation with private en-suite bathroom (KingSize Bed, Linen & Towels, TV, Aircon, Mirror & Dresser, Fridge, microwave, cupboard)
• R3,600 monthly meal allowance from our restaurant (breakfast/lunch or dinner)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS – SPA THERAPIST/ SPA MANAGER ON DUTY:

1. South African citizen OR valid working permit for employment in SA
2. CIDESCO / ITEC / SAAHSP / City & Guilds or similar recognized accreditation
3. Spa Manager or Assistant Spa Manager experience in Lodge, Hotel or Cruise Ship Spa environment
4. Fit and healthy to perform therapies back to back
5. Beautifully groomed and looking the part of a 5-star therapist
6. Confident retailer
7. Computer literate – able to do oversee bookings, client communication (e-mail/whatsapp etc) / reporting and any other basic admin duties assigned
8. We prefer our employee to have their own transport
9. Ability to build rapport with our staff, international guests and local clientele
10. Confident leader, you will manage a small team of spa professionals

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS – FIELD GUIDE:

1. South African citizen OR valid working permit for employment in SA
2. Field Guide SA certified
3. Valid Driver license – CODE B minimum
4. PDP License
5. First Aid certified
6. In-depth knowledge of fauna & flora of Kruger National Park
7. Excellent guest relationship building
8. Strong host skills
9. Fit to perform your duties
10. Support conservation and respect the rules and regulations of KNP

EXPERIENCE:

1. Experience within a Hotel, Lodge, Cruise Ship or Resort
2. Prior employment in a bush, lodge or safari environment

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

1. Strong team dynamic, but able to work on your own without supervision
2. Ability to work in luxury environment with high-end clients from around the world
